so… I just woke up and people are apparently not liking Decibels being part of GNOME Core?
Why?

Yesterday, I had to sign some documents and since Papers can't currently do this very well (see https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/Incubator/papers/-/issues/330), I had to do it the traditional method of printing, signing manually, then rescanning.
However, after scanning the papers, the documents came in separate pages of PDFs and the orientation was flipped. Thankfully, I used PDF Arranger (https://flathub.org/apps/com.github.jeromerobert.pdfarranger) and was able to combine many PDFs into one, rotate pages, and rearrange pages. Nice utility!

Folks, remember to backup your data!
I've been using Pika (https://apps.gnome.org/PikaBackup/) to backup my home directory every week or so to an external drive, and it works very well.

I'll probably be archiving the repositories soon, or transfer them to someone who's maintain them.

I have made the sad decision to stop working on Muzika (https://github.com/vixalien/muzika) and the related muse (https://github.com/vixalien/muse) projects.
Firstly, Muzika is a YouTube Music client and I don't like the decision the service has been making these days like incessant price hikes¹ and YouTube removing OAuth² support, effectively burying 3rd party clients like these. I also need to commit more time to myself and school, which Muzika has been stealing from me.

For recap, this is what I’m usually working on:
Muzika (https://github.com/vixalien/muzika), a GNOME/GTK YouTube music client. I’ve been working towards fixing all the bugs to prepare an initial v1 release on Flathub.
Decibels (https://apps.gnome.org/fr/Decibels/) is a simple application to play your audio files.
Sticky Notes (https://flathub.org/apps/com.vixalien.sticky), an easy and intuitive note-taking application. I’ve been working towards a new version with markdown and other features.
And many more…
(Boosts appreciated)

In case you missed it, Decibels is now in GNOME Incubator: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/Incubator/decibels
This means it's on track to become a GNOME Core app, and you can install Nightly builds of Decibels from the gnome-nightly
flatpak remote to help catch issues 👷.
