While it doesn't always feel like the start of spring here during Imbolc, it is the time when the increasing daylight is finally noticeable. I like to do a deep spring cleaning, since we're comfortably past the new year, and it's time to welcome in new growth and change. I will knead my intentions into a fresh loaf of bread or two, weather permitting take the house beasts on a nice long walk through nature, and spend my evening with some mediation and maybe some manifestation rituals. It's far too early for me to start garden seeds, but I'll start some tobacco seeds because they need a longer season than I have here, and I'll spend some time communing with the houseplants. Then, I'll grab the husband for some, uhm, fertility rituals, because you know, why not 😏

My friend in Georgia is stuck in the ice storm without power, phone service is barely working and she can't get text messages to go thru, and the internet is spotty at best. She can however, reach her friend in Nebraska via @signalapp so they can send her back updates on the power status adn weather, and relay messages.
