I really must install a plugin that lets me easily reverse the left and right channels on my master bus.

I think there may even be a built-in plugin in Reaper. I just need to add it to my default master bus chain.

If I'd used artificial intelligence I would have denied myself the joy of this process of discovery. I would have entered the idea or title as a prompt and had the silicon do all the creative work. That choice would also have signalled that there was no point letting my subconscious develop song ideas in future. And if you don't use it, you lose it.

The idea popped up again two days ago. I thought about it some more and came up with the song title.

Last night as I was getting ready for bed the idea returned forcefully, along with some strands of melody and a cobweb of lyrics. I knew I had to strike while the iron was hot, so I sat down with a guitar and developed the chorus until it was complete enough to write down lyrics and chords and record a quick demo on my phone.

Aelyth and I are currently working on the second sideSister album. So far we have nine definite songs and two possibles. We both continue to look for song ideas that fit the "feel" of the album.

I had a song idea last week about the precariousness of life for many people in a world where the wealthy call the shots. I did nothing more than think about it a little.
