A little work on The Beast !

Add a beautiful 3Dfx Voodoo2, changed the ribbon cable SCSI and IDE with the old round one I keep since the 2000's, change the broken floppy unit with a spare on, and add 256MB of PC133 SDRAM that was sleeping in my basement for years ! (512 MB now!)

All seems to work ! Next step, OS installation !

Dieu que j'aime Linux! Plus le temps de bidouiller comme dans ma jeunesse, et j'avais un problème à résoudre depuis un moment. Le classique, plus de place sur /, mais plein de rab dans /home.

J'avais fait mon install il y a 3 ans en mode moderne, à savoir une partition EFI, une grosse en tant que PV LVM, et dedans un VG pour /, pour /home (en btrfs) et pour le swap (pour ce que ça sert avec 32Go de RAM…)

Dual Pentium II ! AGP, PCI,PCI-X,… ISA !!! And internal SCSI !

Don't know if it works, but I think I have found the perfect setup for DOS/Win9x games ! (And early Linux distros and Haiku/BeOS for the SMP part!)

Encore une magnifique série #documentaire (en deux épisodes) sur #arte. Au sujet de l'Opération Barbarossa, soit l'invasion de l'#URSS par les #nazis en 1941.

Comme bien décrit dans cette critique de Télérama, les phases en animation d'Anaïs Caura qui servent à illustrer la lecture des lettres de soldats sont d'une finesse qui décuple la force évocatrice du documentaire.

Je conseille vraiment !
