To be fair though, all subreddits I usually follow have slowly been getting not only more conservative but also way more juvenile and less moderated.

Computer Science subreddits have been slowly turning into a racist anti immigration cesspool.

It is unnerving how the view that the lack of good jobs is a matter of immigration has disseminated and radicalized some people. I guess it’s easier to blame visas rather than the corrupt leaders but still, I expected a bit more of critical thinking.

I find always a contention point of whether #SwiftUI should be used with MVVM/MVC or just skip it altogether.

I have a mixed opinion on it. I don’t think it strictly fits but also it can work if you think more in terms of uncontrolled/controlled components.

But I’m curious what other #iosDev think? Does it fit or is it going against the current?

Investors like to push the narrative that Tesla is a tech company where it really isn’t. It’s a car company.

Car companies love to show weird wacky and sometimes exciting concept cars that materialize in the most boring ones a few years down the road.

Don’t get me started with the Van.

The good stuff is that it is utilitarian in proportions. Which is a great plus over the cab.

But have these people ever been in a street? How is this supposed to drive in the wonderful state of San Francisco hilly streets?

It’s a concept car. That’s what it is.

Also it’s called a bus. We should have more of those.

Quick rant about Tesla stuff:

Why is the Cybercab a 2 door?

Why those wasteful coupe proportions?

And why this stupid McLaren doors?

It’s by a mile the nicest looking Tesla ever, but everything about it screams that it’s just a show car. A car stuck in the 80s scifi dream that self-driving cars are just around the corner.

It’s the same smoke and empty promises that GM, Ford and any other car company has sold as a concept since forever as concept cars. It’s not meant to be real.
