Two years ago, a group of filmmakers approached me with an idea. They wanted to explore why we were stuck on this treadmill of buying more and more things.

We went on a journey together that took us from the halls of Congress to an unlikely gathering of fixers in California eager to fight back against a tide of waste.

That movie, #BuyNow, is out on Netflix today. It will change how you think about everything that you buy.
