Working on my #blog. I just added an #rss feed... or an atom feed, but I'm not technically up to speed on the difference. Who actually would read this rss feed? Probably nobody at this point, because the only people who would ever find this are my 93 followers on #Mastodon.

I use https://github.com/getpelican/pelican for my blog, so I can have my content in simple #markdown. But it's a terrible name for a #foss program because you can't search for it on google. The other #pelican is too popular.

Internal to the #Axient #Digital #PSM Receiver (ADXR) that #Shure just shipped there is, unsurprisingly, a programming header

that exposes #serial, #JTAG, etc. It is in violation of (Murphy's)[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_A._Murphy_Jr.] law.

This stupid cable has the same connector at both ends, but is electrically asymmetrical. It has no key feature and has no obvious polarity marking on the cable.

I will not allow this mistake to

propagate to the new design.

Dear #lazymastodon and #retrogaming folks. I had a request from a friend who has a bar with a game room who is looking to buy industrial/commercial/military/kid-proof/pro strength arcade machines?

He would love a solid console or few that might let you play a bunch of old classic games. He would set it to allow free play.

I know you can buy joysticks and buttons etc. and build/buy #misterfpga stuff etc. But he isn't a maker and would prefer to just buy an indestructible and awesome machine.
