There’s special place in hell for Ukrainians moving to Poland to work for russian spy agencies, trying to destroy infrastructure.

This is bad on so many levels. I’m glad the court rejected plea and Serhii “Lucky Strike” faces the most severe penalty.

Couple of weeks ago one company reached out to me.

After first friendly chat I was invited to take online „coding” test.

It went fine (algorithms!) but I was curious if LLMs could pass it and made screenshots for this purpose for later use.

Guess what? Both GPT and Claude provided okay answers and guided some more generated performant and safe implementation in 4 different languages.

Maybe your test should focus on aspects that machine cannot generate in seconds?

Or don’t hire a human? 🤔

There’s this big debate erupting now and then if #LLM-s are groundbreaking technology for writing code.

They absolutely are. Writing code is easier, especially the boring part we would „automate” or script in the past. Now we don’t have to.

But… Writing code itself is the easiest part so not a great unlock.

Models like #GPT4, #Mistral #Large2 or #Sonnet35 also help with debugging, rubber-ducking and “querying” documentation. This is where the impact is most pronounced in my day to day work.
