Am I too cynical? When a person I haven't talked to in decades reaches out to me on LinkedIn about a job, I think to myself "Oh boy here we go someone wants to cash in that friendship card." I still help of course but if the last time we spoke was when I was in my mid twenties and I'm on the wrong side of 40 now, I'd rather not pretend like we are long lost buds. You are effectively a stranger to me.

There's a lot of really cool video game books out there, but like, why can't I get a guidebook or strategy guide in like nice leather bound copy for something like Super Mario World, that contains every secret, start, map, bug?

I wanna just say how incredible my dog is. Calling her a pet does not do her justice. Her emotional intelligence is of the charts. I got her when she was 8 weeks old. My sister in law insisted on it after my break up. I was really crushed at the time. She immediately helped with that. She wakes me up from nightmares. She knows when I'm depressed. She loves every single neighbor in my im my apartment complex and they all adore her. Truly a life companion. #dogsofmastodon

I picked up this Coil album which I think is a compilation of four EP's themed around the seasons called "Moon's Milk (in Four Phases)" and I haven't heard much Coil before so I had no idea what I was in for. But I love it.

Awhile back I said fuck hulu live tv and went back to antennas. I just got a much cooler antenna and now I doubled my channels. I have the channel that has "Draculas kungfu theater." I'm set now guys.

I dunno how many #networking people there are in the here, but I just finished a 6 day long battle turning up an internet circuit for a new corporate office. When you're like "Wait this is a reverse duplex multimode cross over cable? Does that even work with this transceiver?!" You know your in for some shit.
