I am getting a little tired of people complaining about ‘dark’ TV shows. How else are they meant to represent places that barely have any light? I think @imyke is 100% on the money with this and I think watchOS 11 provided some hints on this potential progression on this. I would also add that this also applies to sleep tracking, as I wrote about in this week’s MacStories Weekly.

OK, so here's the bare minimum I’m doing:

Deleted Threads account.

Deleted Instagram app. Empty account staying to stop pics of my daughter.

WISH I could delete WhatsApp but I’d be cutting off family.

Upped monthly contribution to trans charity Mermaids.

Do what you can. It's not virtue signalling.

OK, wow. I've finally fixed this! I downloaded @jordibruin's app Amnesia and somehow it worked. I'd tried literally every other solution online that I could find and had given up being able to ever fix it.

However, the mystery still remains as to why this only seemed to happen to me and a handful of others. Nevertheless, I'm glad it's gone! 🙏

Meta's ‘hateful content' policy changes are utterly disgusting and horrible. Not only are they saying, 'you can say pretty much anything,' but they're actually listing things that you CAN say. Talk about not only allowing someone to shoot but also handing them a gun!

@ismh86 1000% agree with you about the return of Ted Lasso. It won't be awful, but I'm sure the returns won't be worth the investment, no matter whose story they're telling. It felt best in the original format and ensemble. They should have just left it.

Ok, Internet, what is this new alert I keep getting EVERY TIME I use an app like Cleanshot or Bartender? I'm on the latest macOS 15.2 beta, and I can't for the life of me work out how to turn it off. As you can see, it kinda ruins any screenshot shot, as well as being plain annoying.
