Just watched the 2013 film "Coherence". Easily one of the best "soft" #SciFi screen works I've ever seen; like a long-form, really superior episode of The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits or Black Mirror.

Also, very impressive use of no budget whatsoever. Somehow it ends up being a strength of the film.

DON'T read any reviews, and don't worry if your early reaction is to not like many of the characters. Liking them isn't the point.

Every time I ask someone who opposes supporting #Ukraine militarily what they would do to stop the invasion and the slaughter, it always boils down to the same thing:

"Give the killers what they want, and they will stop killing and be nice to you."

Yeah. Thing is, it's already been tried. Recently. Multiple times. And all it does is teach #Russia that aggression works, and they do it again. And again. And again.

I've noticed recently that the crows on our street not only recognize individual people, but also cats. They always raise a loud ruckus when a certain grey cat is on the prowl, but they're completely relaxed about Stanley, a friendly older neighborhood cat who has no hunting instinct.
