Since installing the macOS Sequoia beta and enabling iPhone notification mirroring, I've been uninstalling A TON of apps that send marketing push notifications. I don't need marketing material interrupting my flow while I'm working. 👨‍💻

In the past, I'd just ignore the notifications on my phone. Now I’d rather uninstall an app than let it interrupt my day, or to fiddle with Settings.app to disable it.

I wonder if iOS apps will see an increase in uninstalls when Sequoia goes GA in September. 🤔

This "Core Technology Fee” is pretty wild, tbh. Charging free apps a wild monthly fee for going viral seems... odd? What if your free art game that you made out of passion ends up doing 2,000,000 downloads? Now you owe Apple $500,000/year.
