Back from rehearsal where we were learning dance choreography for the show. And I had to learn how to move my hips in a swaying slinky way. Which my hips have never done before. So it felt very odd having to teach my body to move in ways it's never needed to. I'll get it eventually.

Trying to sort through mass of old spritey hobby project stuffs on my PC and dug up this Amstrad CPC style game project from 2017 I forgot about. Which I believe was meant as a sort of Double Dragon meets Bubble Bobble sorta thing, sort of. I was never quite sure what I was doing with it but the sprites were nice, compact and colourful for their size (16 pixels tall).

I never understood why the Turrican sprite in the otherwise respectable #AmstradCPC port of Turrican II was so green when a more accurate greyish colour scheme was available right there. Years ago I copied and recoloured the sprite to demonstrate what I mean in both these shots. I just came across these images again when sorting out my hard drive (so many folders of random crap :P ). If I knew how to hack the game to make a new 'edition' of sorts I might do that.

Hope everyone had a nice Christmas. Mine was a pleasant day with family and food. Here's a pic of my Blokees Bayverse Optimus Prime at my parents house. I didn't get him or any action figures for Christmas (I got him back in July) but I brought him with me as a fidget toy. 🙂
He's out of focus because it was a quick photo and I didn't realise til I got home. Is fine. The frosting in the tree is nice. 🙂

Jared Leto as Skeletor? No thank you. Can't stand his "acting" in films or his "method acting" on set which ranges from creepy behaviour to his cast mates to pissing off disabled people with the dickish wheelchair thing (linked article). He's also got a bad rep in the industry for alleged misconduct. Also kinda strange how Revelation cast one of the best ever Jokers (Mark Hamill) as Skeletor and this has cast one of the worst Jokers with this absolute prick

Really good GameboyColor-style Zelda-like game 'Veritus' I bought in a 2 pack bundle with 'Prodigal' (which this is a sequel to) for £3.30 on Steam. Good stuff. :)

I got this Playmobil Back to the Future Advent Calendar from Amazon for £21.98 and goes great with the Delorean I posted the other day.
