I think Mastodon is great … but
I’m trying to get them to review a decision to take down one of my posts and have been told the address to write to is support@mastodonapp.uk - all I did was raise - in very moderate terms - a concern I have regarding the safeguarding of young people wanting to transition.
My emails to Mastodon go unanswered hence this post. Has anyone else experienced this problem? They won’t even acknowledge my email on the subject.

[#]Obesity, and it’s dreadful consequences, is one of the biggest drains on #NHS resources. Yet my local hospital rents space to vending machine companies and retail outlets selling large quantities of sugary drinks an unhealthy foods. Its time #Government began to take public health seriously. Just as they announced an all out ban on smoking on NHS premises they could take action to replace unhealthy food and drinks with healthy alternatives.

Looking around me today I’m wondering why UK has a problem with immigrants. Our quality of life owes so much to what they’ve contributed.. We’d be so much poorer culturally & in every other way without them. Of course there are some we could do without (just as some of those born here leave much to be desired) but they’re an insignificant minority compared with those who are the backbone of our industries and public services. #immigration #immigrants #kemibadenoch #nigelfarage #farage # #reform

We’re inclined to forget the contribution the #NHS makes to the economy, focusing instead on what it costs.
When we pay towards the NHS we all benefit. It’s our gift to each other; always there when we need it, paid for by those who can afford it. Every £1 offers quality of life and, in helping maintain a healthy working population, supports the economy. What better gift could there be?
