Hmm the book seems popular at the library.
All copies in use
9 copies
4 on order
157 on hold
Looks like I’ll have to buy it and donate to library afterwards.

Just got double vaxxed at Loblaws pharmacy.
Was easy to schedule online. Finding the link was the hardest part.

Just had a thought.
Mastodon allows you to expire and delete your old posts.
It would be cool to also auto prune inactive accounts.
Inactive could mean no posts or no likes or not seen online beyond a certain amount of time. Say a year.
Just like real life, if you don’t interact then you are automatically forgotten.
Hmm. Looks like there are some scripts to do this kind of thing.

@neauoire
This is surreal. Yesterday I was messing with kiwix and looking at various zim files.
I happened to see and start reading logs from the 100 rabbits book. The text editor, the games, the sailing adventure. Fun read.
And just now I read your post about sailing north with pino. PINO.. that sounds familiar along with the writing style. There is no algorithm, how the heck did this pop up on my MASTODON feed?
Not sure if it means anything but it's a fascinating coincidence.

Ho hum. For funsies I’ll just setup a local copy of wikipedia with kiwix. 100g. Torrent that big boy down to the NAS. Setup an nfs share and spin up a kiwix-server. Cool.
Maybe I’ll check out these other wiki categories…
Uh oh.
I may never surf the regular internet ever again.
Pure unadulterated information and learning materials about almost anything.

I bumped into a Denvaar blog post from 2018 that explains the mechanics of base64 encoding.
I’m impressed by the simplicity of the algorithm.

Recently watched “The Big Lebowski”. Not a comedy.
It might be trying to say something deeper, but Dude.. yah it’s a lot of dudes and cringe stereotypes that take place during a bowling tournament.
Then I find a political analysis that makes excellent use of the movie to describe where #democracy is today.

Also a notable #film macguffin

I also found a list of all the characters and their previous notable roles.
