Happit is available now on iOS, for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch!

It's the habit tracker that I wanted to use myself, connected to Apple Health and with different views to let you visualise your consistency.

OK it seems to work if I create a container without CloudKit, then if I actually want a container with CloudKit I create and return that after, just don't use the original container for anything.

Feels gross, but works? I think?

My uber-scientific print statements indicate this takes negligible time, so hopefully fine

Anyone got any tips for debugging a crashing SwiftData migration? I'm wondering if it's just easier to do it manually... 😅

It crashes right after the willMigrate, and these errors:

"A Core Data error occurred." "Instances of NSCloudKitMirroringDelegate are not reusable and should have a lifecycle tied to a given instance of NSPersistentStore."

I thought it was this, which fixes the crash, but then my didMigrate code is never ran.

Does anyone with a better SwiftUI brain understand why I would see a noticable performance improvement using overlay instead of ZStack? I sorta just thought they were somewhat similar ya know, tools for a same-ish job some times. Using overlay instead of ZStack noticably decreases lag updating a view with loads of subviews.

View is pretty much a github graph, every cell with a zstack for a border, now using overlay. Redrawing the view is noticably quicker now.

Is this a general ZStack thing?

But ah, is anyone else seeing their dark mode icon (with transparency) on the App Store? Did I miss somewhere I need to specify which icon to use?

Could anyone on the Xcode beta or RC do me a favour and let me know what the path is if you click on "show in finder" for the code completion model?

Mine has gone missing and won't redownload itself, wondering if there's anything I can try and poke at manually to make it work. Redownloading just gets the same error repeatedly

Just fixed* some embarrassing show stopping concurrency bugs, and others from not testing specific flows on iOS 17 because I've been running iOS 18 myself!

So thank you to anyone who's given feedback already, please keep finding bugs! It's the fastest way for me to improve the app
