I wish Stratford station had a really good departures board for the GA services. None of this ‘page 2 of 7’ stuff when everyone wants page 1 and nobody has time or space to wait for the display to cycle. Especially useful on days like today where the order of things is completely different due to the Liverpool Street closure.

Pleased to say that my local B&M Bargains sells the 33l Really Useful boxes that I use for the DVD and Blu-Ray collections. Do I buy 3 more tubs (£14 each) to store the DVDs that Ollie bought in his last few months, or will I start to be ‘ruthless’ and thin out some of the duplicates that Ollie bought to get different artwork?

Over 20 years I’ve worked on Anglia and I went to Thetford for the first time today. What a strange place. Like they built Merthyr Tydfil on top of of a mediæval village.

The arrangements for Ollie are falling into place. He will be Directly Cremated next week (no service). I chose some favourite clothes for him. There will be an event in Braintree town centre in January to remember him and celebrate his life. Please let me know if you'd be interested in attending.

As you can imagine, there is a lot on my mind. It is a relief that Ollie is out of the pain that had consumed him in recent months, stealing the man I love. Ollie and I were together for over 14 years but it feels like much less, even with time spent together in a 2-bed flat through the pandemic. I am so grateful for all the things we shared, discovered, and enjoyed together. It seems his TV uploads to YouTube are still held in high regard.
