A couple glasses of gin, and a blunt stuffed with El Chivo Cheddar later, I am obsessing over the new #LSDunes album. It's absolutely phenomenal. This song in particular is so funky with a heavy groove. If you listen closely you can hear Fank Iero in one ear, and Travis Stever in the other.

I set up a jail on my FreeBSD server, but it's struggling to download DeepSeek... I'm not sure if it's just because that's the popular model right now and everyone is downloading it, or if I just need to ditch the repurposed network card that I threw into my server. 🤣

Someone I worked with a long time ago recommended "Echoes" to me. I didn't listen to them, and then I regretted it.

As a stand-alone piece, I think Echoes is just as good as the entirety of Darkside.

Doing my first version upgrade with #FreeBSD. Gotta say, coming from the #Debian world of just issuing a few commands and hitting enter and not really thinking about it, to actually having to select a new point release does feel somewhat backward. And I wouldn't have even known that there was a new point release to upgrade to if there wasn't a "kernel mismatch" while trying to upgrade my packages.

It was $60 for a whole half-ounce, and it's providing the appropriate experience based on the selected terpenes, so I can't complain. This actually looks pretty awesome. One of the reasons I didn't play #MechWarrior 5 (which is still on #GamePass) is because it's pretty slow-paced. Clans looks to be much faster gameplay. Downloading it now, hoping to be able to play some of it this weekend and next week.

I've been working on a #javascript #tarot deck for a while now. Two years or more. I've had different iterations of it in that time, but I think I finally found a workflow that I like.

A friend came into town today, so I met up with him and we had a few beers, and smoked a little. But when I got home, I started working on my tarotjs. Got it working well on Firefox mobile. I joked with my wife that it was amazing because I had been drinking, etc. This was the spread it gave me 💯:

A friend shared this with me. He's not a fan of most things AI, but this caught his attention. We're still early days for sure, but I found this to be pretty impressive! The people who are making the most out of generative AI are the ones who have a process and a workflow.
