“The worst possible tour ever! Avoid at all costs!!!!11!! This silly people dragged us all across Berlin, showed us very questionable places that nobody wants to see. On top of that, the tour was queer themed ew! Tour guides poorly performed and were giving wrong info. The organization was awful and confusing. Travel services had worst possible communication. It also ends at panke.gallery for a very questionable group art show. Yikes! “

In a year when budget cuts by the Berlin Senate reduce cultural funding by many million euros, we find it even more important to continue what Vorspiel promised to do: showcase the richness and diversity of Berlin’s independent initiatives in music, sound, visual arts, media arts, and hybrid fields.
It would be great if we could manage to put together a list of exciting, diverse and interesting events to strengthen our networks and keep us motivated.

Ghost Work collects mechanisms and resources devised to build resilience in remote work systems and on freelance work platforms. The research focuses on the ingenuity of workers in the global gig factory and particularly on tactics the workers on platforms such as Upwork based in the Eastern Europe and the Global South contrive to fake their location or presence to circumvent scant pay, surveillance and control that is frequently not expected from the gig workers in the Western Europe and the Global North.
