Worrisome that #turkey #israel and #iran (by its proxy #hezbollah) are trying to safeguard their own interests in #syria with operations on Syrian territory. Right now stability and forming a new state that respects the diversity of the Syrian population and human rights is in the best interest of the whole region. #geopolitics @geopolitics

The Dutch supermarket #AlbertHeijn decided to knock all of the #netherlands out of #whamageddon by broadcasting a series of christmas commercials with 'last christmas' on national television.

I'm out. And if somebody from #AH is reading this: #whamageddon is not just a joke for me: I suffer from a #wham #trauma originating from my teenage years. I don't want to relive that trauma multiple times a day...

Really revealing thread on LLMs. People are defending LLMs with arguments that boil down to 'intelligence is an emergent property and LLMs have so many parameters that intelligence will emerge'. But what we see, is plausible language and #hallucinations, not the #emergence of #intelligence
