I guess since I'm going through a "thing" with my #webhosting, #webserver (moved from #AWS to #DigitalOcean, #namecheap to #porkbun) I may as well do the rest...

I'm looking for alternatives to #wordpress because of that guy and that drama

I know #php, I just don't want to do another custom site

One of my sites is just a few pages, I might just copy paste the souce, the other one is an image heavy chronological blog

Does anyone have any recommendations for very very small traffic #SMS services?

I was using #AWS #SNS, I'm moving away from them and want to have this service still.

I know #IFTTT usees #ClickSend so at least I know that company is legit. Seems like a good price. Everything else I can find seems more expensive. Message cost isn't a huge deal because my usage is in like the dozens a month. Monthly fees aren't cost effective for me though.

OK here's what I decided. For now.

Try #selfhosting with images on my current CDN. If ok, run like this for a bit but plan on getting a spare machine to run as a #webserver ( #raspberrypi?)

If not ok. Try cheap droplet with DigitalOcean

Welp, 2 years, 3 months without a flat and I guess you pay for what you get.

Not repairable in this weather with my current mood. About the 3rd time in 40 years I called for a rescue.

Upping my subscription to the #microplastic distribution network.

Also Les Schwab WiFi blocks #Mastodon and other social media

And I had to argue with them about their stupid rotation policy to get my warranty.

The treads were all at 4/32 except the center because guess who overinflates them. It's them, not me.

Hopefully, I can get the full mileage out of these tires and buy the next set at Costco

I may have posted about this before, but I devised a way to "extend" parcels out to the middle of the right of way.

Useful if your city/county wants to assign an address or maintenance responsibility to assets in the right of way. It’s not perfect but on at this scale, nearly everything will be close enough.

It’s way more accurate, less chaotic, and more soothing to look at than using the Near function.

Another #gravel #bike ride from my front door to the Oregon (USA) coast range through the mid Willamette Valley. Nearly the same route is in May.

This one featured a small wildfire. I called 911, they were on the way already.
