I'm a bit late but I just checked my #Letterboxd year in review. 📽️ Let’s goooo.

• I logged 270 films (including shorts) and wrote 177 reviews. That’s 22.5 films/month and 285 hours of watching. :blobpopcorn:

• I created 5 lists in 2024. My favourite one is the Comfort Food list.

• The first film I watched this year was Moloch, the last one was Glorious.

• My favourite genre is Horror. :blobcatknife:

• My 5 most watched themes are „Horror, The Undead and Monster Classics“, „Twisted Dark Psychological Thriller“, „Terrifying, Haunted and Supernatural Horror“, „Gory, Gruesome and Slasher Horror“ and „Gothic and Eerie Haunting Horror“. I expected the last 2 to be the top 2 to be honest. :)

• My highest rated Nano Genres were „Creepy, Vampires, Campy“, „Unsettling, Horrific, Twisted“ and „Gory, Haunted, Death“. I agree. :D

• Only 7.2% of my watches were rewatches, thanks to my annual subscription for the local cinema.

• My most watched actors/actresses were Donald Pleasence, Margaret Qualley and Jenna Ortega.

• My most watched directors were Alexandra Mignien and Hayao Miyazaki.

It seems like Nintendo is releasing the Switch 2 in March 2025, so it makes sense that the current sale feels like a sellout? But I'll stick to my Switch until it falls apart. 😬 And who knows if the rumours about the follow-up console are actually true, I think I read like … 10 times that the next Switch will be released super soon

Langfristig werd ich glaub ich was brauchen, wo ich sowohl meine runtergeladenen MP3s nutzen als auch streamen und Playlisten erstellen kann, also so was wie Plex aber aber für Audio und ohne Amazon-Quatsch…

Ich teste gerade #Freegal, die kostenlose und mit Bibliotheksausweis nutzbare #Spotify-Variante.

Es gibt natürlich nicht alles, aber es ist sowohl im Browser als auch für Android/iOS als App verfügbar, Downloads sind möglich und Playlisten erstellen geht auch.

Streaming geht für maximal 8h pro Tag, was für mich manchmal knapp werden könnte, aber für die meisten anderen Menschen vermutlich ausreicht.

Es sind maximal 5 Downloads möglich, deswegen isses schon eher streaminggeeignet und vielleicht nicht die beste Wahl für einen Langstreckenflug oder Zugfahrten in Brandenburg und Niedersachsen mit miesem Netz.
