Some quick napkin math puts the length of a 25Gb Ethernet bit in multimode fiber around 7mm. Which puts a typical MTU at about 100 meters.

I humbly suggest we replace 100 meters with typical MTU* in the Olympics so-as to make it more attractive to a certain demographic. For shorter races fractional MTU or octets would be acceptable.

I've been thinking about how confused the #news #media has been to the public response of the #UHC #CEO shooting. To me, it demonstrates how disconnected from the average person that world is.

I'd think the years of writing about extremism in the "war on terror" would have given them some insight. That after a point, when people have taken enough shit, they're driven to extreme measures. Maybe more reporting on what constitutes "enough shit" instead of telling us how great the CEO was.
