Some reggae is playing at the local pizza shop. So far, I heard the song that The Prodigy sampled for "Out of Space," and now I'm hearing the song that Fu-Schnickens sampled for "Ring The Alarm." Wondering if I'll hear any other familiar 90s reggae samples before my order is ready.

I've had Mr. Mister's "Broken Wings" stuck in my head for the past few days, so I figured I should finally check out the whole album it came from. I expected a surreal, hiraeth-inducing experience, but it feels more like I'm watching scenes from Transformers: The Movie.

I do miss the Last.fm app retroactively synching ("scrobbling") the music I had listened to offline on my iPod once I connected it to iTunes on my PC, though.

It's always interesting seeing how my music listening habits were on Last.fm before and after I started using streaming services. Before 2012, I'd repeatedly listen to albums I purchased years (and even decades) after they were originally released.

Once I started using Spotify, I'd listen to an album only a couple of times before moving onto the next new release.

I'm slowly getting back to my old listening habits, and it's kinda nice.
