So there was obviously massive migration from #meta, mostly from #instagram into #Fedi, mainly #pixelfed.

No surprise so far with new rules.

Regardless of the amount of half naked edgy selfies in "local" I feel like it's 100% worth based on the amount of amazing people joining our community.

I think we should welcome everyone and help them acclimatise. Some of them will leave when they find their style isn't popular here and that's fine, but I've seen many positive reactions when people get told about tag spam, alt text, nsfw toggle, boost Vs multi post and more.

Many of those people genuinely would like to stay and join us so be careful and polite when giving advice. You probably didn't know all of that at the start (I sure didn't) so let's all be friends.

Few weeks ago I converted my Pentax Q10 to infrared by removing its filter.

It's much easier and cheaper than many other options out there so a good place to start for someone who would like to check Infrared photography out.

I haven't seen any videos about this so here's one.
