My new #GE refrigerator is taking #enshittification tips from #HP. You can only install official GE water filters due to #DRM. It refuses to dispense water or make ice with an aftermarket filter.

Caveat emptor and all, but this is my last GE appliance purchase for my lifetime. Also, if this is you, legend has it you can trick the DRM by swapping labels:
