Went to the local pub with pickles and masalas. Friend had just come back from costs rica with pea berry coffee. There were Meyer lemons in a box near the window from another friend. The olives are truly fabulous. Brined them in salt and vinegar for 3 months, desalinated them with vinegar and water for 3 days, then mixed them with copious spices and herbs, gram (lentil flour), coconut and lots of olive oil.

Been a big food processing weekend. Received 21 kg of pickles, namkeems, and spice mixes from India, starting to package them up. At the same time, my fall olive harvest is finally fully brined and desalinated and the front yard masala kalamata olives are being packaged for my friends.
