Well it's star trek day (17 01 !) so today it was time to upload something trekkie. I should have done something with the canon characters, but as my Vulcan goblin randomly takes my sketchbook it's as good a day as any to show it some more. Pint size Vulcan for the win!

A little late but hello #PortfolioDay! I'm Andrea (she/her) a small freelance artist from the mountains of Spain. A couple of new pages from the sketchbook! A bunch of ancient non-dinosaur reptiles and my OC Alieth being the space gremlin that she is. She may have a few anger-issues, but she handles 'em just fine. That's what happens when you belong to a tall, lanky race, and you come in the smaller package.

I'm working myself back into #schmoescozyartclub practices and found this nice vespas/tiny cars references. I'm not the best with vehicles in 2d so it was a nice excuse to practice and learn a bit!

This sketchbook is something I'm really proud of, given all that has happened in 2024 in my life. I can already take a lot of learnings from it (like lighter line weight, some cool landscapes simplification, some cartooning expressions, etc) and I can't wait to record the video of the whole thing :D

Happy new year, guys! Hope 2025 would be tame and full of creative stuff for you all!

This is a part of my 2024 art project: the sketchbook that I started on March 28th and that on December 31st reached page 117 of 193 so it is difficult (but not impossible) to finish it in just a year!

Here, of course, dinosaurs, because they're cool.

I'm subscribed to like 3-4 art newsletters and due to irl been as has been (and me being like i am, looking the numbers of unread mails growing thicker and feeling overwhelmed by it) i've not read any since.... september? Now i got the time and headspace and gosh, there are some there spitting gold and pushing me back toward my sketchbook/personal art. Thank you artists that spend time in newsletters :)
