Watching the Mandalorian and thinking about the vast wealth disparity between people with interstellar ships and those in subsistence existences. Not very uplifting despite the little green dude.

I always feel weird about a flight. Tomorrow I have three, so maybe it's ok to feel three times as weird? I'm taking lots of baggage, maybe too much, but aren't we all right now?

Just before Christmas I did the first 300 miles of this move.

Today Movers are here for the next 5200 mile step. It's terrifying and exciting.

This month, I'm both planning an international move, and extending a linker implementation.

@cfbolz you were complaining that emulating the memory page table walks in the PyPy RISC-V Sail JIT was slow. Maybe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qzXXDM-nELw has some ideas you can steal? I haven't watched it yet, it's on my list to do so.

I thought the "scheduling regular meetings where two parties enter/leave daylight savings at different times" was annoying but that's nothing compared to "scheduling regular meetings when only one party enters/leaves daylight savings". I'm not sure I ever want to get my head around scheduling where two parties go opposite directions for daylight savings time, on different days.

If NOP does nothing, why does the program counter change?

I think Architects and ISA designers should have more courage to say NOP means NOP, without this program counter funny business.
