The drain to my shower has been frozen for a week now. I've been standing in a bucket and judiciously using the water to flow into the bucket. It has been a pain in the ass! But, it's above freezing today, and I want to take a long hot shower. I can't wait until the standing water drains which means it's thawed. A shower drain has never been watched so closely.

I finally got water back in my kitchen, so I can fill my jugs but the bathroom is still frozen. I’m pretty happy to not have to worry about my source of water. Getting there!
