An equivalent to Groups and Feed Privacy seems to be the gigantic blocker to people leaving Meta platforms altogether. Friendica isn’t it. And neither is Mastodon, but Mastodon doesn’t try to be. Are there any new projects aiming to go that direction? #fediverse #mastodon

I can’t seem to find the info anywhere, so I’ll just ask here. Can I make my #Mastodon instance compatible with #Pixelfed somehow? I tried logging into my Maatodon account on the Pixelfed app and it said the server is incompatible. I’m running Mastodon 4.3.2.
