Just added an algorithmic “For You” feed to the @agora Mastodon client!

It finds high quality posts from your follows, and combines it with interesting posts from accounts you aren’t following.

The goal is for it to be the best combination of posts from your network and undiscovered posts based entirely on your interests, not on maximizing engagement or clicks.

Here's a #p2p link of the #Epstein Giuffre v. Maxwell (2015) docket that you can download from the browser, powered by #IPFS. This way, we can all help distribute the document without relying on a centralized server that can get overloaded or take it down.

In support of user autonomy, it would be nice to see Mastodon clients notifying users when a profile they’re searching is on a remote instance that’s blocked by their instance, and then offer to load it for them directly if they still want to see it.

Instance admins have the right to choose what gets federated to their servers, but users shouldn’t be totally at the whim of those admins decisions.

It's looking like the user doesn't exist yet on mostr.pub, not sure if there's a missing first step to generate their bridged profile first

@alex If I'm logged in to a nostr account on a mastodon web client using ditto.pub, and I look for a mastodon account, it should be the mostr.pub version, right?

Having trouble getting ditto.pub to find a bridged mastodon account on mostr.pub.

Example:

Mastodon account: @anneapplebaum

Mostr.pub bridged account:

anneapplebaum_at_journa.host@mostr.pub

When searching that on a nostr client, it finds it, but when searching from a mastodon client using ditto.pub, it doesn't. Thoughts?
