I went ahead and turned the previous git-confined into a new git-scm Snap package for providing the regular CLI Git tool to users of Ubuntu Core & Ubuntu Touch.

This should provide a full-fledged Git experience from the CLI like any other way of obtaining it. Have fun!

I've something to share for running Snaps on Halium devices, and it's a gpu-2404 provider for Snaps to take advantage of.

The idea is to ship userspace drivers as snaps to consume by other snaps, and it's providing the same ABI-compatible equivalents to EGL, GLESv2, etc.

Fun fact: the gpu-2404 interface provides a way for hybris-2404 to set up the LD_PRELOAD hack that maybe a handful of devices rely on. It fits beautifully in there.

Focal OTA-7 is the one you want for Fairphone 4 and 5 to reconnect external screens again.

Fedora talking about getting rid of the term "karma" from Bodhi is a perfect example of people not reading the room.

Here the mistakes in order:

• Judging a term

• Based on a religious context

• About a religion they most probably don't practice themselves

• For never having to be in touch with religious words

• In a thing called "Bodhi"

"Kosherhalalamenkarma" is like a 4times punch in their faces.
