Update:

• car charges fine on 3-pin cable

• car charges fine on neighbour’s PodPoint

• Andersen say they saw an RCM or similar error at 3:30am when it tripped my consumer unit

• Andersen have agreed to replace the core under warranty. I only still have warranty on it as they replaced the core earlier this year, due to frequent RCM errors

• New core has arrived at my house - waiting on engineer appointment now

• I think I’ve just been really unlucky.

Hopefully someone can help.

Plugged Corsa Electric in to charge last night (SOC 10%), schedule set in Andersen app from 12:30-4:30.

Wake up this morning to find:

• car is 52% charged

• circuit breaker for wallbox has tripped.

Now when I plug in it tries to initiate charge but fails (have removed schedule from Andersen).

While plugged in every 5-10 mins it tries to commence charging, but the app then says ‘vehicle not requesting charge’. The LED box by the charge port goes red.

Anyone?

I’ve just seen one of these stretched Mustang Mach-e cars on the road. I assume it’s in service by a funeral director as I live near a crematorium and the car was in black.

I wonder what range you could get out of one of these at a steady 20mph…
