I dismissed it before I thought to capture a screenshot, but I just got a notification from a local news/weather app that 1 school district is closed and 2 others are operating on a "24-hour delay". I'm pretty sure they meant 2-hour delay.

This past billing cycle was our first full cycle of #Solar production. It wasn't a particularly sunny month, so we didn't generate that much power, but we did save a little bit on our electric bill (not nearly what my solar loan payment is, yet, but a decent chunk for a winter month).

This current cycle is shaping up to be worse than last cycle, but I'm hoping that the sun will start shining soon.

Over the summer, I fully expect to export more than we use, but it seems like a long wait.

Trying to look at concert Tickets through #TicketMaster. Their website immediately tells me "Your browsing activity has been paused" with 3 useless suggestions to fix the issue.

One of those suggestions is to sign into my account if I haven't already, but, since my browsing activity is "paused", I can't sign into my account.

At least 2 or 3 times/day, I get a voicemail message from "Jessica" in the "underwriting department" trying to contact me about some loan (it's a scam). No matter how many times I block and report spam, it always pops back up again (mostly because they use a different phone number every time).

I really wish there was a way for these spam utilities built into our phones to analyze the content of a message and automatically remove it if we've received the exact same message more than X times

Can we talk about how obnoxious it is when a desktop app decides that its "loading" screen needs to stay on top of everything else on your desktop, and there's nothing you can do to move or hide it?

I really hate that "minimizing" Zoom makes the video window get small & move to the corner. In Windows, since clicking an app icon in the taskbar minimizes/un-minimizes an app normally, I accidentally click the Zoom icon occasionally, and clicking it again doesn't "un-minimize" it; it does nothing. I have to click the icon in the video window to do it.

No matter how strongly I agree with, or support, something I see in a screenshot here, I will absolutely not boost it if it doesn't have alt text, or if the alt text is something like "may contain an image of a man and some text".

So, I missed the performance by #Gojira both times it played yesterday. I've been trying to find it somewhere online so that I can see it. I've now clicked on multiple stories that claim to have the video, but they all embedded the same post from Xitter that was apparently taken down because of copyright violations.

If you're looking for something to do this evening in the #WinchesterVA or #MartinsburgWV area, we've got #trivia starting at 7 pm at The Pub in Bunker Hill, WV. It's a mile or so over the state line on route 11.

They'll be serving breakfast all night long, so you can choose whether you want wings, hot dogs, omelettes or biscuits & gravy.

They also have some very nice bourbon (you can even order a flight of bourbon if you want), and specials on buckets of beer.

6. Adding songs to playlists is a little weird. I'm not sure what I was doing differently each time, but, sometimes, when I tried to add a track, it would add the whole album; other times, it would just add the individual track I wanted.

7. Also, when you add a song to a playlist you're currently playing, it doesn't automatically get added into the queue. You have to restart it (or specifically play that track when it's time) in order to hear that song as part of the list.

3. The sound quality is great, as expected. It's much louder than Spotify, as a result.

4. This is definitely not unique to Tidal, but, there is still dirty data in there. Groups that have the same name end up with their albums mixed together.

5. I do like the fact that, in many cases, contributors are listed individually, so, instead of having to search for "Name 1 & Name 2" specifically, you can search "Name 1" and their own stuff shows up alongside their collabs

Testing out #Tidal for my music, as I'm hoping to move away from #Spotify at some point.

Here are some thoughts:

1. I wish the "Sound output" option on mobile/desktop allowed me to choose my Echo devices/groups the way Spotify does.

2. I don't understand why "Now Playing" (or even recently played) on different devices signed into the same account isn't synced. It's annoying to start listening to something on my desktop, then wanting to continue on my phone & having to find it all over again
