Look who came to the fourth of my Opera in Depth classes on Smetana's 'Libuše' - none other than Royal Opera Music Director in waiting Jakub Hrůša. I find it increasingly difficult not to have tears in my eyes talking about this masterpiece, and he expressed his feelings about it so eloquently.
