Der ICE 1 hatte zum Start 1991 ein Konferenzabteil (150 DM Aufpreis zum regulären Fahrpreis) mit Telefax und von außen anrufbarem Funktelefon.

Wenig überraschend ist die Zielgruppe lieber geflogen oder Auto gefahren, und das Konferenzabteil wurde nur einige Jahre später zum Kinderabteil.

I got myself a set of borosilicate glass beakers, mainly because I wanted a 100 ml one but you cannot purchase them separately.

The smallest one is 5 ml. I had no idea how tiny that is. Now I have a thimble-sized beaker made for pixies that I can't use for..... anything sensible, really? :BlobHajMlem:
