I have an old Apple Thunderbolt display with an integral MagSafe 2 charging cable. I also have a 2021 MacBook Pro with two USB-C ports.

Does anyone know if it's feasible to charge the MacBook using the display's MagSafe charging cable? And if so, where can I get an adapter?

I remember reading this when it came out. No longer my favourite Banks novel, but still the one that got him noticed and led to all the great novels that followed.
