We'll be hosting a set of tutorials and workshop in Melbourne, Oct 22-23 on the theme "Open the World with Open Source". There are eight choices of tutorials covering developing web apps, migrating to open source from Excel, creating effective data plots, applied forecasting, turning your code into production quality, extreme value analysis, causal analysis, and scaling up your programming skills. Michael Lawrence will lead the workshop day on the topic "S7: A New Object-oriented System for R". This is also preceded on Oct 21, by the OceaniaR Hackathon.
