I'm not sure how many of my fellow #UK Citizens this reaches, but I have logged a petition on the Government's official platform entitled "Stop using the Social Media platform 'X' for official communications"

Before this can become live to gather signatures, it needs 5 sponsors. Unfortunately, until it gets these 5 sponsors, you can't see the text of the petition 🤦

Full text of the petition: "Stop using the Social Media platform 'X' for official communications

Given that the moderation standards of X have been deliberately diminished in order to push a particular political agenda, and that the platform is being used to undermine British democracy, the UK Government should stop using this platform for all official communications.

The X platform has been used (by it's owner) to spread dangerous misinformation about UK MPs he disagrees with, to attack and undermine the UK Government, and British democracy. The UK Government should move it's official communications to an alternative platform, and cease all use of X. A UK Government instance of Mastodon (for example), would establish the UK as a pioneer in this space."

I have mixed feelings about the possibility of seeing the Tzenkethi next week in #StarTrekDiscovery

On the one hand, I'm sure they'll come up with a fantastic look for this previously unseen species.

On the other hand, they were very well developed in the #StarTrekNovelVerse, with a very alien look and culture.
