‘This is why I think the CSS Working Group deserves an onslaught of praise. Designing new features that are immutable once shipped has to be a nerve-wracking experience that involves inexact science.’

‘My startup’s jQuery code has outlasted multiple frontend framework hype cycles. It loads in 50ms, degrades gracefully, and the learning curve for new hires is scroll down, read code, understand.
When I ask, “Will this code still work in 5 years?” with React, I’m nervous. With jQuery? It’s already worked for six.

This is a gem! The LCD emulation is top-notch. The level elements are hardcoded/placed and are reused to create completely different rooms. Also: very fun to play. https://mastodon.social/@IndieGamesPlus/113903780362201213
