I'm finally recovering from SFC's "end of year" fundraiser and annual financial audit (plus the actual program work we managed to do in the last month like the AVM announcement and Neo4j amicus brief).

I know there continues to be so much going on in the US and globally and there will be very relevant things to discuss soon, but at the moment I just feel so grateful for all for the support in the #softwarefreedom community and the broadening of the base of people who care about these issues.

hey folks at #EverythingOpen I was hoping to speak to you remotely today. I'm still waiting to hear if it's possible to do that or share a pre-recorded talk, but I think the conference isn't set up for that!

I was going to talk about Navigating the Declining Funding for FOSS Organizations, and I'm happy to answer any questions anyone might have here!

I note that declining funding is why neither EO nor SFC had the budget to fund travel to be there in person, so this is particularly apt!

I just got extremely well written spam "Your copyleft compliance work is exceptional, would you like to meet our investors who support ethical tech? "

If you are sad you missed the exciting finish to our @conservancy fundraiser, you still have the ability to make our overage amount a fun number (a prime?)

I'm going to sleep now, and will be back in a few hours, and will go see if there were any last minute paper checks that arrived for us in the last days to get a final number up :)

Thank you again!, I'm so proud that people really care about this work.

Literally just a few minutes left to SFC's annual fundraiser, and we have $273 left to raise. Will you be the one who zeros it out?

Is this maybe happening? The amount to raise is $8,933 now!

Did you see how we stood up for the AGPL in our recent amicus brief? We worked so hard over the holidays to make that happen...

SFC is such a lean org, and we do so much with the funds that you give us. Help us leave less (or hopefully nothing) on the table to support this work!

Did you see our successful action in Germany where we supported an individual in his legal action to enforce LGPL?
