As expected, friends 14yr old rescue dog was worse overnight, and when we took him to the vet, he died before the meds were put in the cannula.

A witch jar in a Greater Manchester forest.

The jar was not hidden away and could be seen from the footpath. I've confirmed with some local witches that it's ok to post the photo.

The lost dog who was reunited with her owner last night has lodged a complaint. She would like me to point out that she is not a lazy dog and foxes have never jumped over her.

Update, trying to get dog rescue person with chip scanner to find address of owner.

Also, she requires lots of belly rubs.

Yes Royal Mail post van person, of course I'll look after a terrier cross with more energy than a nuclear power station you found wandering the streets.

I've passed the description, location and photo to the local dog people, hopefully they'll find the owner before I have to take her to a shelter.

A light clean and repair on an early 1960's Linguaphone Spanish 45rpm record set. Brought from a charity shop and will be a present for someone who will appreciate it.

The case looks grubby but is imitation snakeskin.

Boris Johnson is probably on the phone right now to line up the safe seat of a Tory that might die/resign and cause a by-election. Then win a leadership battle, and return to government due to shy Tories at the next election.

Just listened to the BBC Radio 4 Inside Science podcast about satellite junk, featuring @sundogplanets making some great points.

Link here, https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0021jqc

it may be geo-blocked, but there's a download option on the page, and it's also available on the usual podcast platforms.

Brother Colour Graphic Writer BP-30, an electronic typewriter that does graphs!

Probably needs some work, but may be of interest to the retro computing crowd here.

I added it to my wishlist and got an offer for £8.99 plus postage.

I have been helping look after a pride of Maine Coon cats, they're big and fluffy, and I'm not sure they're actually cats. Not mine, so sorry, no photos of them as I don't have permission.

I've come home to a router that's reset and given itself a new name and the WiFi and admin password don't work. The internet service was recently sold, then sold again. Hmm. #Internet #Router

300 million-year-old fossil lycopsid in the Manchester Museum.

It's been in the museum since It was discovered in Clayton, near Bradford in the 1880s, and is one of the largest in the world.

It's more closely related to modern mosses than trees.
