Trying to word this eloquently..
People operate on different levels: social, biological, and more deeply, in terms of chemistry and physics.
The language and terminology used within sociology tends to be housed in the camp of the social and political, and rarely frames social phenomena with the language of deeper levels of operation, in more impersonal, physical terms.
What would #Sociology look like if we tried it in apolitical, physical terms? And didn't always assume an agent was at play?

I wonder what would happen if we applied the pareto principle to #epistemology. It might go like this:
80% of people lack the knowledge required for post-conventional outcomes (but if you aggregate the knowledge of those people you'll still get a pretty good outcome)
So many organizations operate on a baseline of cultural status quo. Only those who can recruit the top 20% become an Amazon or Google. Likely holds true for nation states as well.

I don't post about religion much, but this quote made me stop in my tracks.
It strikes me as the pinnacle of #Zen, #Buddhist, and #Hindu philosophy. Thoughts?

Curious about your perspective on this:
What would be a good process for when/when not to code review (in lieu of the ability to pair-program)? I'm thinking a risk-based approach would be a good idea - for moderate to high-risk changes, and for junior developers.

Some background:
I'm employed in the software industry based out of London, Canada, and a former graduate of Western University in the Medical Sciences.
For the past decade I've been studying a number of topics in my spare time, primarily history, big history, religion, and social science, with a specialist interest in Eastern religion and Africa.
On the fun side I'm a hobbyist writer, cook, and into fitness, record collecting, and jazz.
