The Data Protection Commission (DPC) has launched High Court proceedings against Twitter over concerns about how the personal data of millions of European users of X, as the social network is now called, is being processed.
The DPC says it concerns centre around the use of this data, in public posts by X users, to train artificial intelligence (AI) systems utilised by Twitter, including its enhanced search tool known as “Grok”#

It was a pleasure to discuss with Adrian Weckler in today's Irish Independent newspaper the challenges many organisations, particularly those in the public and charity sector, face in hiring and retaining #cybersecurity talent.
I argue that if you should not rely solely on salary and monetary rewards to attract and retain people to your organisation but look at the values of your organisation that align with the type of candidate you want to hire.
