Those of you who subscribe to the #Day6 #podcast, or those who listen to #CBC Radio One, will have enjoyed two segments of interest today.
The first was by @pluralistic (Cory Doctorow) about a very interesting way for #Canada to respond to #US tariffs.
The second was by @molly0xfff (Molly White) about #Trump's embrace of #cryptocurrency and what that could lead to.
Two accounts worth following.

The site ... now gives users an โError 404โ message. It also included a โGo Homeโ button that directed viewers to a page featuring a video montage of Trump in his first term and on the campaign trail. The button was later updated to read โGo To Home Pageโ.

Does anyone remember a miniseries on TV (maybe in the late '80s) about a merged Canada-US, where a Canadian runs for president? He staged a fake assassination attempt to get sympathy and win the election. The bullet was fired from a rifle disguised as a satellite dish mounted on top of a television station's van that was parked nearby to cover a speech he was giving. I think the plot was to undermine the Canada-US merger from the inside. Anyone recall that show or what it was called?
