It’s been a year since I gave this lightning talk at @lrug. It felt a bit silly at the time but in hindsight I’m glad I did it because it’s a nice concise summary of a project I enjoyed and worked hard on. My head says that decisions about code style don’t matter at all as long as they’re applied consistently. My heart says that the syntax produced by Layout/SpaceInsideHashLiteralBraces with EnforcedStyle: no_space is so straightforwardly unpleasant that I don’t want to look at it.
