So, I moved my machine to Kubuntu. What a nice experience. All works fine. Only tiny minor glitch was, that it was better to install the zoom client via apt, since snap didn't do the backgrounds. Love KDE!

It must have felt similar for the people 100 years ago. Like the whole planet turns facist and it seems like all got insane. This time the US President is one of the worst and it's not Werner von Braun but Mr. Musk doing the rockets. The mechanisms are the same. Finding scapegoats and dehumanize minorities, fight the free press and equalize all state departments. It's just sad, that we learned nothing from the past.

Btw, I left Facbook over 10 years ago, never had an 'insta' account and only use whatsapp when I absolutely must...

Guess what - I don't miss it. I did get requests via my brother if I am dead, though. 😀

Does there exist a job portal for IT jobs, which has a focus on orgs with a good impact. Like environmet or climate, open press, non profit, open source...you get the drill.
