fork() is also basically impossible to
implement on systems without an
MMU, since the parent and child should
share pointer values that refer to
different objects in memory.

Rust people should have focused on solving this problem, instead of inflicting async/await on people.

Rust editions largely exists for Rust "experts" to come out of the woodwork and pretentiously go "akchually, that's not what an edition is for", whenever someone innocently suggests having nice things in a future version of Rust.

Splitting Eq/Ord from PartialEq/PartialOrd, such that floats can implement their total order in Rust?

Would be interesting to measure the breakage and figure out how to mitigate it.

I'd expect many issues with #derive(Eq, Ord) and similar ...

Would be interesting to declare bankruptcy on f32 and f64, define F32 and F64 types, and implement Id for them.

No support from the derive attribute without hacking the compiler though.

Rust people are so weirdly invested in their Eq/PartialEq mistake that they keep adding new things under it, like StructuralEq/StructuralPartialEq.

Hint: If it worked, you wouldn't need to keep changing it.
