For example, I'm hopeful that Solar Foods will succeed and really be sustainable. But in the triangle of people, planet and profit, the last comes first and the two others might make a showing. That's just how it is now. In order to get something that's good for people and planet, it needs to be profitable. Case in point: Solarfoods have received quite a bit of cpital, but to sustain the effect they need a business running profit.

I noticed that the CEO of VTT (https://www.vttresearch.com/en) will leave to work as board member for startups etc. Good luck to him! But I wanted ask: what examples of startups have actually done a positive impact outside ROI for venture capitalists? I know a few who are promising but I'm interested in actual positive effect for society / environment / other? #sustainability #startups #venture #UN #Sustainable #Development #Goals

esim. prokkiksen aloitus meni henosti. Mä haluaisin käyttää 11ty:ä, koska sitten voisin julkaista ihan suoraan .md kirjoitetun tekstin sivuilla. Mutta apropoo, onpas vitsikästä yrittää saada valmista layouttia asentumaan. tämä ketju saa toimia jonkinlaisena seikkailuna aiheessa.

sinällään jos haluaisi melko pelkistetyt kotisivut (kirjoituksia, yhteystiedot, muutamat linkit) niin kylläpäs osaa olla hankalaa. Ilmeisesti iso osa ohjeista on ai-bottien kynästä, koska komennoista jne tunutt aina löytyvän joku kirjoitusvirhe tms. Oh well.

Plans for 2025: passing godan (5th dan) in kendo in summer 2025, hopefully at the Pori kendo camp if they have it up to there.
